Feritech Global has announced the launch of its new generation 5 ton winch – the Feritech FT3505. It has all the power, drum capacity and features of Feritech’s previous generation winch but is nearly 40% smaller in frame size.

“Designed for safety and ease of operation, the simple controls can be operated locally or remotely and the compact crash frame offers outstanding protection to both operators and equipment. The compact design fits inside a standard shipping container.

“The winch is supplied as a ready to use package. Simply fasten to the vessel with either the incorporated ISO blocks or sea-fastening blades, plug in and power up. The drum accepts a wide range of line diameters that can be pre-tensioned and spooled onto the drum prior to shipping if required.

“The FT3505 sets a new gold standard in winch design, reflecting Feritech’s mission to be at the forefront of subsea tech innovation.”
