The FT0510 Manual Drop Trigger is a simple, tried and tested mechanism for releasing the FT0520 Gravity Corer. The reliable mechanism can be configured for all barrel lengths and drop heights. The system can be re-armed rapidly for improved efficiency when taking multiple samples.

The Gravity Corer is released when the 80kg trigger weight reaches the seabed. The Corer is then retrieved with the recovery line.
