Our high power, variable frequency vibrocorer leads the market in its technical innovation and performance. The subsea equipment is built to withstand the harsh offshore environment and unforgiving handling. The latest frame has been designed to be 40% lighter than the previous model yet just as strong.
The fastest system yet to assemble and can be built to take from 1m cores up to 9m long samples. The variable frequency and thrust allows high power when needed but also gentle penetration ensuring a high-quality sample.
Optional sensors include our popular heat flow system which is compatible with our gravity and piston corers. You can also monitor altitude from the seabed, barrel penetration, frame sinkage and water depth all in real time.
The system can be lifted on a single cable that allows for data and power as well as the lift or a separate lift and umbilical cable if preferred.
