FT518 Combined Piston Corer LARS
The FT518 Combined Piston Corer LARS is a pre-built, modular, ‘out of the box solution’ with a tracked LARS, hydraulic power unit, A-frame and Piston Corer, all integrated into one unit.
It allows for the deployment and recovery of the FT520 Piston Corer, even in the most challenging marine environments. This Piston Corer system is available with an automatic trigger and our hydrostatic safety release systems.
The primary advantage of this integrated system is that it can be rapidly mobilised, eliminates the requirement for an A-frame on the vessel, and allows for a more efficient deployment and recovery process.
