FT579 Cone De-airer System
The Feritech CPT Cone De-airer is designed to remove air and fully saturate the pore sensor and filter to give a much improved pore pressure response. Our Cone De-airer can be used with any brand of geotechnical cone.
The system uses a vacuum pump to evacuate the cylinder containing the cones, this causes the glycerine or silicone oil to fully saturate any air space within the pore sensor.
The system is built into a rugged steel (or stainless steel) frame and can be supplied in a weatherproof enclosure for use outdoors. We can also offer a compact unit for use inside CPT vehicles.
